Raise the take-up lever to it’s highest point by turning the hand wheel toward you.
Raise presser bar lifter and lead the thread through all points 1 thru 9.
Pass thread through top cover thread guides.
Lead thread between tension disks then pull through check spring and over tension thread guard.
Thread the needle from left to right.
